The design of the hotel transports you to a traditional Egyptian fairy tale. I loved sitting under the thatched roof and enjoying a drink in the bar. The outdoor pool and bicycles were a great addition to the experience.
Who needs a functioning heater in the winter? Extra blankets and a fire totally made up for it.

The rooms at Hotel Sheherazade Luxor are absolutely cozy and comfortable. The air-conditioning keeps you cool in the scorching heat, while the wooden furniture adds a touch of warmth. Having a private bathroom feels like a real luxury. As a traveler who values both comfort and privacy, I really enjoyed my stay here.
Personally, I found the 24-hour front desk at the property a bit overwhelming. It felt like there was always someone around, and I prefer a bit more peace and quiet.

During my recent stay at a hotel in Luxor, I was impressed by the excellent service I received. The staff were very good too ensure my comfort and satisfaction. For instance, when my husband fell ill, the hotel staff provided really good care and support, ensuring his well-being throughout the night. I can't thank them enough for their dedication and kindness. The hotel itself was a hidden gem, tucked away in a quiet street, providing a peaceful retreat from the busy city life. The interior design of the hotel showcased the best of Egypt, with beautiful paintings, hanging carpets, and a magnificent dome. The rooftop offered a amazing view of the Nile and the temple of Luxor on one side, and the desert mountains with the Valley of the Kings on the other. The well-tended gardens attracted a variety of birds, creating a serene ambiance. My room was comfortable and well-maintained, with a cozy bed, a heater , and a clean and functional bathroom. The hotel staff were attentive, always ready to assist and resolve any issues promptly. Although the food could have been more inspired, the breakfast provided was sufficient, and there were nearby dining options available. Despite the minor drawback of the hotel's location being down a muddy side street, it gave me a unique opportunity to experience the local culture and witness the daily life of the friendly locals. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an authentic stay in Luxor.

The traditional design of the hotel created the perfect intimate and cozy atmosphere for our romantic escape. We loved the beautiful garden, where we could relax and enjoy our morning coffee while admiring the stunning view of the Nile. The location was very convenient, as it was a short walk away from the main tourist attractions, allowing us to make the most out of our stay. The friendly and accommodating staff made us feel welcomed and ensured we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
The WiFi was not very reliable, and we had trouble connecting at times. We also found the breakfast to be a bit basic, and it would have been nice to have more variety.
